Founded in 2017, Stanford Manicule aims to publish pieces with style, passion, conviction and a desire to illuminate.

Sita is a senior studying Art History and Comparative Literature. Her primary focus is exhibition politics, Soviet and Russian art, fashion and textiles. Her honors thesis is titled, “Silk from Behind the Iron Curtain: The Glory of Russian Costume and Fashion Nationalism”

Anya is a senior studying Economics and Art History. She is interested in Baroque sculpture, Terrence Malick films, and Impressionism, with a particular interest in art in the physical world. She is writing an honors thesis on Impressionist art as an asset class, comparing its rate of return to Academic art and equities in 19th century France.
